Limit Composer Privacy Policy / 개인정보처리방침
Limit Composer Privacy Policy
Effective date and last updated: August 23, 2026
1. App and operator
Limit Composer is operated by MyungHoon Park (brand: 훈연스튜디오). Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hunyeon.studio@gmail.com.
2. Privacy summary
Limit Composer is an offline-first text utility. Drafts, limits, and saved text stay on your device and are not sent to the operator or the advertising service. The app has no developer-operated server or user account. The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for a small banner and applicable privacy choices. The optional Lifetime purchase removes advertising.
3. Information stored only on your device
The following information is stored in the app’s local iOS storage so the app can work and restore unfinished work:
- the current draft;
- the selected counting mode and character or word limits;
- an on-device cache showing whether Lifetime Tools were unlocked;
- up to 20 user-named limits after unlock; and
- up to 12 recent draft snapshots after unlock.
Draft text is counted in memory on the device. This local information is not transmitted to the operator.
4. Clipboard
The app reads plain text from the clipboard only after you tap Paste and writes your draft to the clipboard only after you tap Copy. Clipboard text is not sent to the operator. Once text is on the clipboard, it is also subject to iOS clipboard behavior and any actions you take in other apps.
5. Information processed by the operator
The operator does not operate an account system or server for Limit Composer and does not receive drafts, saved limits, clipboard contents, or payment-card information. The operator may view aggregated advertising reports supplied by Google, such as ad requests, impressions, estimated revenue, country-level performance, and error or policy status. Those reports are used to operate and maintain advertising and are not used to identify or profile individual users.
6. Apple StoreKit purchases
Apple processes the optional non-consumable Lifetime Tools purchase and purchase restoration through StoreKit. The app receives product and transaction status from Apple and stores only a local entitlement flag for offline access. The operator does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. Advertising, consent, identifiers, and diagnostics
Free users may see one Google AdMob banner at the bottom of the main screen when the editor and software keyboard are inactive. Limit Composer does not use app-open, interstitial, rewarded, or in-editor ads. Lifetime purchasers do not receive ad requests from this app.
Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and report advertising. Depending on device, region, consent, and Google’s current SDK behavior, this can include an IP address used to estimate general location; device, app, or developer-bounded identifiers; advertisements viewed; ad and app interaction events; consent choices; and crash, performance, or other diagnostic information. Draft text, saved limits, recent drafts, and clipboard contents are not included in ad requests.
Limit Composer requests non-personalized advertising with Google restricted data processing enabled, disables Google’s publisher first-party ID, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and does not access the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA). Non-personalized advertising can still use local storage or identifiers for functions such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
UMP checks applicable consent or privacy-message requirements at launch before the app requests ads. When Google requires an in-app privacy-options entry point, it appears under How counting works → Ad privacy choices. You can use that entry point to review or change the available choices. Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and its advertising information.
Limit Composer does not include a separate analytics or third-party crash-reporting product. Google Mobile Ads may nevertheless process the advertising interaction and diagnostic information described above as part of the ad service.
8. Permissions and notifications
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, health data, Bluetooth, notifications, or the file library. Clipboard access occurs only when you use the Paste or Copy action described above.
9. Retention, deletion, and privacy choices
The current draft and settings remain on the device until they are replaced, cleared, or the app is removed. Named limits and recent draft snapshots can be deleted individually in Lifetime Tools. Removing the app deletes its local app data and locally stored advertising-consent choices. A previously purchased entitlement may be restored from Apple after reinstalling the app.
Information processed by Google is retained and deleted under Google’s policies and applicable privacy choices. Where the Ad privacy choices entry point is required, you may use it to change available consent choices. You can also remove ads through the Lifetime purchase or stop all app processing by removing the app. Because the operator has no user account or draft server, there is no operator-held account or draft record to delete. You may contact the operator with a privacy question or rights request at any time.
10. Children’s privacy
Limit Composer is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. The operator does not knowingly collect drafts or account data from children. Advertising is configured for general-audience content, but a parent or guardian should not allow a child under 13 to use the ad-supported version.
11. Security and international processing
Local app information is protected by the security features of your device and iOS. The operator cannot guarantee the security of information that you copy to the system clipboard or share with another app. Apple and Google may process purchase, consent, advertising, or diagnostic information in countries where they or their service providers operate, subject to their policies and applicable safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
If Limit Composer’s data practices change, this policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The updated policy will show a new effective or last-updated date.
