Routine Timer Privacy Policy

Routine Timer is a local-first iPhone app for saved multi-step timer routines. This policy explains what the app stores, what its service providers may process, and the choices available to you.

Information stored on your device

Routine names, step labels, durations, transition choices, active-timer progress, alert preferences, ad-removal status, and ad-frequency timing are stored locally on your iPhone. Routine Timer does not require an account and does not upload your routine content to a developer-operated server. You can delete this local information by deleting routines in the app or removing the app.

Notifications

If you enable transition alerts after starting a routine, Routine Timer asks for Apple notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device. The app does not claim alarm-grade delivery. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.

Advertising, consent, and tracking

Routine Timer uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Ads appear only outside active timers after value has been delivered. Depending on your region and choices, Google may process device identifiers, coarse location, advertising data, product interaction, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data for third-party advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and analytics. Routine Timer presents applicable consent choices before requesting ads and, when required for cross-app tracking or access to the advertising identifier, requests permission through Apple App Tracking Transparency. If you decline tracking, ads may still be shown without the advertising identifier.

Purchases

The optional lifetime ad-removal purchase is processed by Apple. Routine Timer receives product and entitlement status needed to provide and restore the purchase; it does not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under its privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Local routine and timer data remains on your device until you edit or delete it or remove the app. Advertising, consent, diagnostic, and purchase data processed by Google or Apple is retained under their respective policies and legal obligations.

Children

Routine Timer is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect routine content through a developer-operated service.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
