Limit Composer Terms of Use / 이용약관
Limit Composer Terms of Use
Effective date and last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Limit Composer. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Your App Store license is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that agreement and do not replace any non-waivable consumer rights.
2. The app
Limit Composer is an offline-first utility that counts text against a character or word limit and highlights text beyond the selected limit. It can keep drafts, settings, named limits, and recent draft snapshots in local app storage. The free version may show a bottom banner when you are not editing.
3. Counting results
Character counts use user-perceived Unicode characters, and word counts use non-empty groups separated by whitespace. Other apps, websites, forms, or services may apply different counting rules. You are responsible for checking the requirements and final result of the destination where you submit text. Limit Composer does not guarantee that another service will accept a draft or calculate the same count.
4. Your content
You retain responsibility for text you enter, paste, save, copy, or submit. The operator does not receive or monitor that text. You must have the right to use the content and must not use the app to violate law or another person’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the app for personal or business drafting subject to these terms and Apple’s usage rules. You may not misuse the app, interfere with StoreKit or purchase validation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or related services, or reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
6. Lifetime Tools purchase
Limit Composer’s core counting and editing flow is free and advertising-supported. The optional Lifetime Tools product is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase that removes advertising and unlocks named limits and recent local draft snapshots. It is not a subscription. The exact price and currency are the amount displayed by the App Store before purchase.
Apple processes payments, purchase restoration, refunds, taxes, and storefront availability under Apple’s terms. Restore Purchases can restore an eligible purchase associated with the Apple Account used for the purchase. “Lifetime” refers to access to the unlocked features in the supported Limit Composer app; it does not guarantee that every device, operating-system version, or App Store service will remain available indefinitely.
7. Advertising and privacy choices
The free version may request and display advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads can be unavailable, delayed, changed, or restricted without notice. You must not attempt to generate invalid traffic, automate ad impressions, or click ads except from genuine personal interest. Privacy and consent choices available for your region are described in the Privacy Policy and, when required, can be opened from How counting works → Ad privacy choices.
8. Availability and updates
The operator may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue app features when reasonably necessary for compatibility, security, legal, or operational reasons. Updates may be required for continued compatibility with iOS or the App Store. The operator does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Privacy
Limit Composer’s data practices are described in the separately published Limit Composer Privacy Policy. The app has no developer-operated account or server. The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google UMP for advertising and applicable privacy choices; draft text is not sent to those services.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Limit Composer is provided “as is” and “as available.” It is a drafting convenience, not legal, financial, medical, academic, or other professional advice. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction. Additional warranty terms in Apple’s Standard EULA also apply.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the app, loss of locally stored drafts, clipboard actions, a destination service’s different counting rules, or App Store availability. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Your right to use the app may end if you materially violate these terms or Apple’s applicable license terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers and limitations of liability, will survive.
13. Changes to these terms
The operator may update these terms for future app changes, legal requirements, or clarification. The published page will show the effective and last-updated date. If a change materially affects use of the app, notice will be provided through an appropriate release or store surface when reasonably practicable.
